23-year-old Polish international with 22 caps joins Club as newest Designated Player
CHARLOTTE, NC (Friday, March 11, 2022)鈥 Charlotte FC today announced the Club has signed Polish winger Kamil J贸藕wiak from English Championship side Derby County to a Designated Player contract until 2025 with an option for 2026. The move is pending receipt of a P-1 visa and ITC.
The 23-year-old, who is teammates with Karol 艢widerski on the Polish national team, played 61 times for Derby across all competitions. J贸藕wiak started all three matches for Poland in last summer鈥檚 European Championship and played eight of 10 in this World Cup Qualifying cycle. In total, the winger has 22 caps with three goals for the national team.

He has played over 200 professional matches at the club level and is still only 23-years-old with his best years ahead of him. J贸藕wiak began his career in his native Poland with Lech Pozna艅 playing 123 matches after graduating their academy. He scored 17 goals and added 17 assists for Pozna艅 to earn a move to Derby County. J贸藕wiak also spent a season on loan at GKS Katowice.聽
