20-year-old Raleigh native returns to the Carolinas following four-year spell with Premier League side
Charlotte, NC (Wednesday, August 2, 2023)- Crown Legacy FC today announced the Club has signed U.S. youth international goalkeeper Chituru Odunze from Leicester City on a permanent transfer.
Odunze joins CLFC after starting 20 matches for Leicester City鈥檚 U21s in the 2022/23 Premier League 2 season.

Odunze started two matches for the United States in the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup. The goalkeeper was called into camp for the senior United States men鈥檚 national team for the first time in November 2020 and was an unused substitute for matches against Wales and Panama. Odunze returned to the national team in March 2021 and was also on the bench against Jamaica and Northern Ireland.
