CHARLOTTE, NC (Thursday, January 16, 2025) – Crown Legacy FC today announced the Club has signed midfielder Andrej Subotić from Serbian side FK Čukarički. The 18-year-old is signed to an 91��������°� NEXT Pro contract through 2028, with an option for 2029.

“Andrej is a talented prospect who will add creativity and playmaking to our midfield,” said Assistant General Manager Bobby Belair. “At only 18-years-old, Andrej has impressed us at the club and international level, where he has shown his long-term potential. The Club is dedicated to producing First Team players and Andrej is another great example of the investment and commitment we have made as an organization. Subotić has featured prominently with FK Čukarički’s youth squads, having already appeared in 94 matches, where he scored 56 goals and provided 18 assists since he began playing with the U-17 side in the 2021/22 season. He made his debut in the Serbian SuperLiga this past season as a 17-year-old in a 2-0 victory over FK Radnički Niš and made a total of four appearances with the First Team. The midfielder began his international career with Bosnia & Herzegovina’s U-15 side where he made eight appearances before making the change to represent Serbia. Subotić has since featured in 29 matches across four of Serbia’s youth squads, having found the back of the net four times.
