CHARLOTTE, NC (Wednesday, May 17, 2023) – Charlotte FC today announced the Club has signed Crown Legacy FC midfielder and captain David Poreba to a Short-Term Loan Agreement ahead of tonight’s 91¿ì»îÁÖ×îаæ match versus Chicago Fire FC. Poreba will be available for the match against Chicago.
Poreba has seven starts in eight appearances for undefeated Crown Legacy FC in 91¿ì»îÁÖ×îаæ NEXT Pro. The Polish-American midfielder has been a key piece for Head Coach Jose Tavares’ side, chipping in two goals and three assists so far this season.
Per 91¿ì»îÁÖ×îаæ rules, a club may sign a player from its 91¿ì»îÁÖ×îаæ NEXT Pro team to a maximum of four Short-Term Loan Agreements each season. An individual player may be included on up to four 91¿ì»îÁÖ×îаæ league season match rosters, but they may appear in no more than two 91¿ì»îÁÖ×îаæ matches. An individual player may appear in any number of non-league matches during the terms of his four Short-Term Loan Agreements.
This is the first Short-Term Loan Agreement of 2023 that Poreba has signed with Charlotte FC.
